Cathy Ananza-Dy
Over her many years in theater, Cathy Azanza-Dy has brought to life a wide range of memorable roles, including Amy in Company, Sister James in Doubt, Cinderella in Into The Woods, Hope Cladwell in Urinetown, Grace Farrell in Annie, and Janet Weiss in The Rocky Horror Show. She played Rona Lisa Peretti in the Manila and Singapore productions of Atlantis’ The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, and Clarabelle in the Manila production of The Romance of Magno Rubio by the Ma-Yi Theater Company of New York. She also co-directed and featured in Nora and Delia Ephron’s Love, Loss and What I Wore, and starred as the pioneering female astronomer Henrietta Swan Leavitt in Lauren Gunderson’s Silent Sky, earning a Philstage Gawad Buhay nomination for Female Lead Performance in a Play.
Cathy wrote and appeared in the short film Creative License, which won First Place in the U.S. National Film Racing Competition. She was the associate director of the international feature film Ignacio de Loyola, a historical epic shot in Spain, which premiered at the Vatican and won the Il Pesce d’Argento award for Best Film at the the Mirabile Dictu International Film Festival in Rome, the Gran Premio del Publico award at the Festival Internacional de Cine con Valores in Mexico, and four Luna Awards from the Film Academy of the Philippines. Cathy continues to write and direct for the theater, live events, and film.

Garrett Bolden
He was one of the Top 5 finalists in the inaugural season of "The Clash." After the competition, Sparkle (formerly
GMA Artist Center) and dubbed as "Kapuso Soul Balladeer". He then became part of GMA's musical variety show "Studio 7," and "All Out Sundays"
He made his debut in 2019 with his first single
"Lilipad Na." Same year, Garrett released his second single "Handa Na Maghintay." His third and first self-penned song "Our Love" was released in 2021 and released an album entitled "chapters"
In a short period of time, Garrett has already received several awards including New Male Recording Artist of the Year at the 11th PMPC Star Awards for Music, Male Pop Artist of the Year at the 12th PMPC Star Awards for Music, and Awit Awards People's Choice for Favorite New Male Artist in 2020.
he also made his debut Theater Production in "Miss Saigon" Guam As John Thomas and "Beauty and the Beast" as Prince Adam /Beast.
his latest production is "Rent" as Tom Collins and "Once on this island" as Agwe.
Bob

Caisa Borromeo
Gawad Buhay and Aliw Award winning actor/director, Caisa Borromeo started her theatre career in 2002, where played Snow White in Repertory Philippines' production of SNOW WHITE AND THE SEVEN DWARVES.
She was last seen on stage last August in Lauren Gunderson’s THE HALF-LIFE OF MARIE CURIE where she played Hertha Ayrton, directed by Kiara Pipino. Last year she directed Elise Santos’ SA BABAENG LAHAT for Virgin Labfest 19, which will be revisited this VLF season and in 2023 she directed The Sandbox Collective’s LUNGS, which earned her the Aliw Award for Best Stage Director.
She has starred in various musicals and plays for different theatre companies over the years.

Mikkie Bradshow Volante
Mikkie has spent the bulk of the last 14 years on stage. She made her professional debut as Liesl in Resorts World Manila's The Sound of Music. Soon after, she was cast in ensemble roles for Atlantis Theatrical Entertainment Group's Rock of Ages, NINE, Aladdin, the Addams Family, Ghost the Musical, The Bridges of Madison County, and Shrek the Musical.
She played the title role in the bloody Carrie the Musical as well as Medium Alison in Fun Home (ATEG), Barbara Smith in Run for Your Wife (Repertory Philippines), Anette in the Manila, Malaysia and Singapore runs of Saturday Night Fever the Musical (ATEG), Lauren in the rerun of Kinky Boots (ATEG), Una in Blackbird (The Necessary Theater), Cynthia Weil in Beautiful the Carole King Musical (ATEG), and Johanna in the Manila and Singapore runs of Sweeney Todd (ATEG).
She was awarded a Gawad Buhay award in 2022 for her portrayal of Carrie Pipperidge in Repertory Philippines’ Carousel. Most recently, she played Aling Barang and Marites in Repertory Philippines’ Jepoy and the Magic Circle.

Mayen Cadd
Mayen started in theatre in 1993 after finishing a summer theatre workshop with TRUMPETS, in C.
Since then, she has joined many productions with several local theatre groups - Repertory Philippines (“Jekyll & Hyde”, “Little Women”, “Going Home to Christmas”), CCP’s Tanghalang Pilipino (“Noli Me Tangere”, “Ilustrado”), TRUMPETS inC. (“The Horse & His boy”, “Joseph the Dreamer”, “The Little Mermaid”, “The Lion, the Witch & the Wardrobe”, “Irena’s Vow”, “Pamilya Maleta”, “Honk! The ugly duckling!), Atlantis Productions (“Hairspray”), Actors’ Actors, Inc. (“The Lark”), Stages Productions, Upstart Productions, World Theatre Project (“Doon Po Sa Amin” Tagalog adaptation of “Our Town”), The Egg Theatre Company (“Maniacal”), CHASE Int’l. (“Once on this island”) & Heroes Square (Jose Rizal Shrine) to name a few, as well as abroad, with groups like Singapore Action Theatre (“Chang & Eng”, the musical) & Abu Dhabi’s TENT Pictures Production, doing straight plays, musicals & most recently, music supervising for a musical animation movie.
She finished an acting course in Hollywood in 2008 with The Acting Corps in LA. Her experience includes acting on stage and on screen for several indie films, TV shows (a regular at Abs-cbn’s “Sineskwela”) & TV Ads, singing, VOs & hosting for live concerts & events, TV ad jingles & album recordings.
She directs shows & plays and teaches Acting & Musical Theatre to teens and adults. She was acting coach & 2nd unit director for several indie films. She is well traveled & her Sociology background allows her to understand and work well with other cultures.
She is trained in Improv, mask acting, tap dancing, ballet & jazz. She loves languages and picks up the local speech wherever she goes. Aside from theatre, she has been assisting her husband train & help establish production groups all over Asia (Cambodia, Nepal, Mongolia, Vietnam, Myanmar, Laos, Bhutan & Uzbekistan) through the process of movie-making. She is beyond thrilled to be back home after living in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates with her husband Steve Cadd for several years and a year from their other home, USA. she is now back onstage & excited to once again be a part of the dynamic thriving theatre scene in the Philippines.
Swing

Steven Cadd
Steven comes from a family of musical performers. He grew up in the Philippines when his parents, Dick and Helen Cadd, came to the Philippines in 1962 to teach music at Faith Academy in Antipolo.
Graduating from Faith Academy in 1972, Stephen pursued his love for music and performing by taking up degrees in both music education and theater arts from George Fox University in Oregon.
Returning to the Philippines in 1977, Stephen started a music and drama training program that continued for the next 7 years, with teams that would tour both the Philippines and the USA. It was during that time he decided to switch directions and move to London to study film at The London Film School. Graduating in 1984 he has pursued a dual career as a movie producer/director and a stage actor. Stephen has produced feature movies in Mongolia, Cambodia and Nepal as well as numerous film and television productions in the Philippines under his production company, SWORD Productions.
In theater, Stephen has continued his love for stage acting in such productions as JEKYLL & HYDE, THE LION THE WITCH AND THE WARDROBE, JOSEPH THE DREAMER, FIRST NAME, THE HORSE AND HIS BOY and BLUEBIRD OF HAPPINESS to name a few. He has also lent his voice to numerous TV and radio ads such as Smart, Motorola, 7-Up, McDonalds, AXA, Del Monte, etc.
Stephen is married to veteran stage actress Mayen Bustamante Cadd and together they have used their training and experience to pass on their skills to a new generation of artists through training programs across Asia, from Bhutan to Uzbekistan and Myanmar, Vietnam, Nepal, Thailand and Laos.
Claude

Becca Coates
Rebecca Faith Coates first appeared in Resorts World Manila's THE SOUND OF MUSIC, as Louisa Von Trapp. She went on to perform in Repertory Philippines Children's Theatre as Alice/ensemble in ALICE IN WONDERLAND, and Snow White in SNOW WHITE AND THE SEVEN DWARFS.
She played Dani in the Sandbox Collective's 2014 maiden production of DANI GIRL, and reprised the role 5 years later in the rerun. She was seen as Agnes in Repertory Philippine's AGNES OF GOD for which she won a Gawad Buhay award. She was also seen in other Repertory Philippines Productions such as THE SECRET GARDEN and FATHER'S DAY. Becca was most recently seen in The Sandbox Collective's THE 25TH ANNUAL PUTNAM COUNTY SPELLING BEE where she played Logainne SchwartzandGrubenierre.
When she is not performing, Becca works as a speech and language pathologist.
Janice

Rycharde Everley
Rycharde trained at the Royal Academy of Music in London, where on the first day of college he sat next to the woman who would, just after graduation, become his wife. She is also the reason that he finds himself making his life in his adopted home of the Philippines.
He has performed in over 50 stage productions, highlights include: Shrek; Avenue Q; The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee; Les Miserables; Chicago; Cabaret; Honk; The Hobbit; A Christmas Carol; HMS Pinafore (Olivier-nominated); The Voluptuous Tango and The Mother. He has also featured in several movies and TV shows, most notably as Jack in the Filipino hit comedy Ang Cute Ng Ina Mo.
Since recording 7 audiobooks in ‘The Whale Road Chronicles’ (with more to come), Rycharde is thrilled to appear on the digital trinity of Netflix, Spotify and Audible.

Is an actor and theater director. BOEING! (Robert Castin) and many more for Repertory Philippines, the “Uncle Vanya” adaptation UNCLE JANE for C.A.S.T. Outside of Red Turnip, his credits include Stephen Sondheim’s COMPANY for Upstart Productions, BLACKBIRD for The Necessary Theater/AAI and The Virgin Labfest’s ANG BATA SA BUS STOP (2017) and THE BRIDE AND THE BACHELOR (2019). He most recently helmed THE LAST FIVE YEARS for Barefoot Theater Collaborative in 2023 (Gawad Buhay Award, Outstanding Production of a Musical).

Sheila Francisco
Gawad Award-winning theater actress, Sheila was last seen as the iconic Justice Hernandez in Bar Boys The Musical. Known also as the lovable Tiya Dely in Full House Theater Company’s Ang Huling El Bimbo, Sheila has successfully crossed over from theater to acting in cinema. She was acclaimed for her performance in “Leonor Will Never Die”, which received countless of international awards and recognitions, notably from the Sundance Film Festival, Toronto International Film Festival, and Film Independent Spirit Awards in LA. She also received FAMAS and URIAN Best Actress nominations for the same.
Sheila was the first Filipina to perform at the prestigious National Theatre of London in their production of Rogers and Hammerstein South Pacific. Handpicked by no less than Sir Trevor Nunn, she received countless of rave reviews. She returned to tour the entire United Kingdom playing Bloody Mary. She has also worked extensively in Singapore with Singapore Repertory Theatre, Dream Academy, Action Theater and Pangdemonium.

Gian Magdangal
Is an award-winning singer, recording artist, and actor for television, film, and musical theater. He has been known for portraying character roles in some of the television networks’ high rating shows: ABS-CBN’s primetime show FPJ’S PROBINSYANO in 2018, RCD
Narratives VIRAL Scandal in 2021 and just recently in Star Creatives’ “THE IRON HEART”. His movies under MAVX Productions Inc include “Ang Pangarap Kong Oscar”, “Fuchsia Libre” and “Whispers in the Wind” also Pocket Media Films’s “Chances Are You and I”.

He was in Resorts World Manila’s/ Full House Theater Company’s Chitty Chitty Bang Bang as Caractacus Potts and played the lead character Hector Samala in the phenomenal hit Ang Huling El Bimbo, the longest running original Filipino Musical featuring the songs of the Eraserheads. Gian has worked internationally for Hongkong Disneyland being part of The Golden Mickey’s show and opening cast of Mickey and the Wondrous Book. In 2016, he became one of Universal Studios Japan’s main singers for their Special Events team.
In 2019, He released his first all-original EP, PLACES OF PARADISE under OC Records.
In 2022, Gian played the role of Billy Bigelow in a critically acclaimed sold-out run of Rodgers and Hammerstein’s CAROUSEL under Repertory Philippines and The Cultural Center of the Philippines which won him another Gawad Buhay Award for Best Male Lead Performance in a Musical and a Philippine Leaf Award for the same category. In 2023, Gian reprised his role as Hector in the recent re-run of Ang Huling El Bimbo the musical. He also won his 3rd and 4th Aliw Awards but his first for best Crossover Performer category and Best Performance by A Group in a Concert after a successful sold-out concert entitled “The Greatest Duets goes Broadway” with award-winning soprano Lara Maigue.
Last June 2024, Gian played Man 2 in Repertory Philippines’ “I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change” and in October 2024, Gian played the role of Larry Murphy in the Asian premiere of Tony Award-winning musical, ‘Dear Evan Hansen’ in Singapore under Pangdemonium at the Victoria Theater.
Gian was recently recognized as Asia’s Golden Icon Awards’ 2024 Best Male Singer.

George Schulze
Began his development at a very young age. He attended several workshops and master classes for film and stage acting under the tutelage of Michael Williams, Menchu Yulo, Freddie Santos, Jaime Del Mundo and Rahyan Carlos.
He made His professional theater Debut in 2008 with Theater Down South's production of RAPUNZEL. He continued to work with them for the productions: A MID SUMMER NIGHT'S DREAM and TREASURE ISLAND, all of which were directed by Michael Williams.
When 2010 came around he moved to Repertory Philippines where he made his debut on stage as the prince in SLEEPING BEAUTY. He then joined them for their productions of PETER PAN and SEUSSICAL. George's notable body of work includes the lead role in Ephesus' production of ONCE ON THIS ISLAND directed by Baby Barredo, Rapunzel's Prince in Upstarts production of INTO THE WOODS directed by Joel Trinidad, King Edmund in Trumpets production of THE HORSE AND HIS BOY directed by Jaime Del Mundo the role of JOSE in 9 Works Theatrical/ Vivere fort's international production of 50 SHADES! A MUSICAL PARODY with off broadway director Al Samuel's, the role of Sir Robin in Upstarts SPAMALOT directed by Joel Trinidad, the role of George Berger in Repertory Philippines' HAIR directed by Chris Millado and to Cap off his recent theater career he played a lead role in two of Atlantis productions' international premiere musicals. Both directed by the late great Bobby Garcia. EARL in WAITRESS (2018) and Barry Mann in BEAUTIFUL (2019).
Now, more than half a decade later George makes his return to the stage joining many incredible colleagues and friends that he's worked with throughout his career to tell this amazing story COME FROM AWAY.

Chino Veguillas
(Male Swing) is honored to be part of Come From Away and to share this inspiring story with audiences. His theater journey began with South Pacific at De La Salle Zobel (DLSZ), directed by the legendary Zenaida Amador and Baby Barredo, followed by Repertory Philippines’ Yankee Pankee ’98.
Since then, Chino has performed with some of the country’s most renowned theater companies. With Theater Down South, he appeared in A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Twelfth Night, Rapunzel, Treasure Island, The Princess and the Red Carp, and A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum. For the Philippine Opera Company (POC), he was part of Master Class, and with Trumpets, he performed in The Little Mermaid (Lebanon), Bluebird of Happiness, and The Horse and His Boy. He starred in 4Faith’s Castrato and Irena’s Vow, 4th Wall’s Rivalry, and Ephesus Teatron’s Taming of the Shrew and Once Upon a Mattress.
With Repertory Philippines, he appeared in Peter Pan, The Wizard of Oz, Camp Rock, Alice in Wonderland, Pinocchio, Scrooge, Hansel and Gretel, Beauty and the Beast, Rapunzel, and Snow White and the Prince. He was also featured in the Virgin Labfest’s Betang, Upstart Productions’ Blood Wedding, Into the Woods, Spamalot, and Company, and Twin Bill Theater’s Suicide Incorporated. His other credits include Resorts World Manila’s Annie, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, Ang Huling El Bimbo, and Barefoot Theatre Collaborative’s Bar Boys.
Beyond theater, Chino is a decorated martial artist. He is a Karate World Cup Silver Medalist and a Southeast Asian (SEA) Games Karate Gold Medalist, having represented the Philippines on the world stage. Now dedicated to developing future champions, he serves as the Head Coach of the Philippine National Karatedo Team, De La Salle Zobel, and St. Paul College Pasig. He is also the Vice President of the Association for the Advancement of Karatedo (AAK), an organization with a 60-year legacy of producing champions in both sport and life. In addition, he is a member of the Asian Karate Federation Referee Council, helping shape the development and officiating of karate in the region.
Chino is deeply grateful for the opportunity to bring Come From Away to life. He extends his heartfelt thanks to his mentors, family, and friends who continue to support his journey in both theater and karate. He is a proud islander.
